FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q1: The website is not accepting my username when I try to log in. What should I do?
A1: Make sure you are entering your username – NOT your email address – in the Username field when you log in. Your email address is different from your username, and is something that you chose when you first registered. If you don’t remember your username, it should be listed in the confirmation email you received during registration.

Q2: I have filled out the registration form but did not receive an email with my password. What should I do?

A2: Try the following, in this order:

  1. Check your Spam folder to be sure the message wasn’t in there
  2. Add ited@cecillinois.org to your address book to help prevent future communications from getting sent to Spam, then re-register with the same email address
  3. If using a school district email address, check with your local tech department to see if they have a firewall that blocks you from receiving emails from the cecillinois.org domain
  4. If you are still having problems, try re-registering using a different email address (gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc. should work well)

Q3: How can I change my ITED password?
A3: Log in, then visit your My Account page and click the Change Password link.

Q4: How can I change my email address or other information on ITED?

A4: Log in, then visit your My Account page and click the Edit My Information link. You will be able to update any of the information you provided when you first registered, including your email address.
